Recover Deleted Text Messages 📱

What a fun, nerdy day!!
Anyway, back to the task at hand!
Today's Tech Tuesday Tip will show you how you can quickly retrieve deleted text messages if you ever accidentally delete an important conversation or text thread from your phone!
On iPhone *requires iOS 16*
Open Messages
Select "Edit" in the top left corner
Select "Show Recently Deleted"
Select the messages you want to restore and press "Recover" in the bottom right corner
On Android *varies based on OS Version*
Open Messages (the default Android version)
Tap on the "three dot menu" icon
Select "Trash"
Select the messages you want to restore and press recover in the bottom right corner
If you happen not to notice the deleted message(s) for longer than 30 days, they may no longer be accessible in the "recently deleted" or "trash" sections - however it may still be possible to retrieve them from a recent backup.
